Interior design by Olivier Lempereur
Stylism and decoration by Hélène Guillon

This Parisian apartment, with the air of a real duplex house, coils around the top floor of a Haussmannian building in the heart of St Germain des Près.

Within this urban haven, the latest creation of Olivier Lempereur, light is again the watchword.

The great challenge was to connect the many bedrooms (formerly staff quarters) with the reception floor, in order to create a home for this blended family with six children.

This completely atypical and original project clearly bears the Lempereur stamp of warmth and authenticity. The creative pair boldly captured the space, taking a lot of pleasure in metamorphosing it into a family nest.

As the connecting theme, they warmed a refined aesthetic with an elegant and exclusive selection of materials. Stone and wood are combined with a few very colourful touches to give the space its deeply contemporary yet authentic feel – the couple’s signature.

The centrepiece is the majestic concrete staircase, whose sobriety is highlighted by the woodblock printed Chinese wallpaper by Antoinette Poisson, with its intense vermillion tones.

The perspectives are skilfully highlighted by the transparency of the door panels and by the wine cellar that delicately separates the kitchen and dining areas.

In this unique living space, everything seems to be in its place, harmoniously.
