Interior Design by Olivier Lempereur
Stylism & decoration by Hélène Guillon
Escape the touristic arteries, disregard the noise of the city and the attraction of the famous golden dome, and enter into an oasis of lush, green peace, the ultimate family retreat… in this beautiful 19th century house that retains its old wooden floors, in doubtless tribute to the illustrious district that harbours it. Olivier skilfully infused life into this originally lightless space.
This town house illustrates the know-how of Olivier in mastering volumes and utilising light.
The latter became the key strength of the project, dictating the redistribution of the spaces around the patio and the creation of openings and windows. Large panels of dark wood redesign the space in a clever trompe-l’oeil that lets the light filter in.
Several lovely works of art then put the final detail on the whole.
